The 2026 Shanghai International Carbon Neutralization Technology, Products and Achievements Expo was recently held successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The expo focused on the forefront of green and low-carbon industries, with delegations from various administrative districts of Shanghai participating and showcasing their unique low-carbon development paths based on their respective industrial strengths.
As a veteran in the compressed air industry and a pioneer in industrial energy conservation standards development, Atlas Copco was invited to attend the "Green Chain Partnership, Carbon Path Together - Business Partner Program Empowering Green and Low-Carbon Development and Standard Innovation Base Achievement Release Conference," hosted by MCC Testing & Certification (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
Mr. Xue Ming, Senior Energy Conservation Manager of the Oil-Free Air Department, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Standards Illuminate Energy Conservation - Sharing the Creation of Level 1 Energy Efficiency Air Compressor Stations." He meticulously outlined the entire standard system across compressed air equipment, energy efficiency testing, and overall system evaluation, and provided an in-depth interpretation of the national standard "GB/T 45785-2025 Energy Performance Evaluation of Compressed Air Stations," which was released simultaneously in Chinese and English.
The speech comprehensively showcased the practical results of standard implementation, proposing the advanced industrial energy conservation concept that "without testing, there is no improvement; system energy conservation is the greatest benefit," providing a clear path for manufacturing enterprises to upgrade to green standards.
